She creates a warm and supportive therapeutic environment to ensure that clients feel safe and understood throughout their journey. Her clinical areas of expertise encompass trauma and difficult experiences, drug and alcohol use disorders, anxiety, and depression. She is a trained EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Therapist, and also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and mindfulness strategies to foster personal growth and healing.

Forensic Services

In her forensic work, Dr. Fox integrates clinical expertise with legal knowledge to deliver accurate evaluations that can be used as evidence in judicial processes. Her areas of expertise include assessments and evaluations to determine competence, capacity, risk assessment, developmental trauma, and adolescent brain development. Dr. Fox also has expertise in juvenile transfer evaluations and evaluations related to the Youth Offender Parole (YOP) system including Franklin and Miller evaluations.

Workers’ Compensation Evaluations

In her work as a Qualified Medical Evaluator, Dr. Fox provides comprehensive medical-legal reports in which her independent opinions are critical in resolving disputes in the workers’ compensation system regarding psychiatric injury. These disputes between the injured worker and the employer or insurance company may include cause, extent of permanent disability, whether a worker has reached Maximum Medical Improvement, need for future care, and work restrictions.
