I am a licensed clinical and forensic psychologist in the state of California. I received my Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Albany (SUNY Albany). After I completed a 2-year Postdoctoral Fellowship at the UCLA Integrated Substance Abuse Programs, I was appointed Assistant Clinical Professor in UCSD’s Department of Psychiatry. I concurrently held a position at VA San Diego Healthcare System, where I developed a program serving inpatient veterans with comorbid Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Substance Use Disorders. Most recently, I worked in a trauma-informed residential substance use treatment center.

Currently, I have a private practice based in San Diego, California. I split my time between my clinical practice and my forensic practice. Clinically, I see clients who need help navigating life’s challenges including disturbing events or trauma, as well as substance use and addiction.

In my capacity as a forensic psychologist and Qualified Medical Evaluator, I work with attorneys to provide expert opinions and resolve disputes by providing thoughtful and comprehensive evaluations on a number of psychological and legal issues.
